Each municipal park has unique plant life, soil, water and use issues. Maintaining quality of appearance within the restraints of tight municipal budgets is a difficult challenge. The EcoFert Program can substantially enhance the look of a park at a price that fits virtually all maintenance budgets. EcoFert has more than 40 municipal parks in the Program, including all of the 14 parks in the City of Tustin.
Schools and Colleges
Schools and Colleges are beehives of recreational activity. Healthy, sustainable grass is important and use of non-toxic soil amendments is essential. EcoFert's organic based amendments assure an environment free of toxic chemicals. The Los Alamitos School District has entrusted all 10 school facilities to the EcoFert Program.
Southern California Sports Fields are exposed to year round use by cleated athletes. Soccer, football, lacrosse and rugby chew up turfgrass. This presents a monumental challenge for maintaining the appearance and health of the turf. EcoFert has developed highly potent organic based Sports Field amendments that promote strong, deep root systems and rapid recovery. The result is reduced downtime and turf replacement. Pepperdine University's soccer field and the Saddleback College football, softball and baseball fields have all benefited from the EcoFert Program.
Cemeteries and Memorial Parks
Cemeteries and Memorial Parks present a challenge for landscape maintenance and fertilization. If a cemetery uses traditional granular fertilizers, all residue must be removed from markers, head stones and other hardscapes in order to avoid staining and decay. The EcoFert Program allows for a healthy landscape year round, reduced labor costs and protection from potential staining and degradation to stonework, all within the budget requirements of virtually every cemetery. EcoFert's cemetery clients include the Diocese of Orange (two cemeteries), Orange County Cemetery District (three cemeteries) and Temecula Cemetery.
HOA and Commercial
With water restrictions and rate hikes, HOAs and commercial property owners are in a pinch. The EcoFert Program is just the solution for sustainable landscapes, including ornamentals, slopes and medians, at a price that makes sense. The Capri HOA in Laguna Niguel and Spring Mountain Ranch in Riverside are valued customers.
